Troy Doyle has taken the first step toward filing a racial discrimination lawsuit against St. Louis County, alleging that County Executive Sam Page passed him over for police chief because he is Black.Doyle鈥檚 attorney, Jerry Dobson, tells 5 On Your Side he filed an Equal Employment Opportunity Complaint Friday at the federal courthouse.鈥淚 do believe powerful interests in St. Louis County didn鈥檛 want Doyle to be chief because of his race,鈥 Dobson said.
