A special prosecutor appointed by the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney鈥檚 Office, which secured Johnson鈥檚 conviction, concluded that 鈥渞acist prosecution techniques infected Mr. Johnson鈥檚 conviction and death sentence.鈥� The Missouri Supreme Court on Monday denied motions to halt his execution, which is scheduled for Tuesday.
