The St. Louis Art Museum鈥檚 exhibition calendar is normally set three to five years in advance. But with brought on by the pandemic 鈥� among other issues 鈥� the already planned-upon exhibit calendar wasn鈥檛 possible.
Despite the challenges, museum staff scrambled to pull together a new exhibition. To do so, curators turned to what they already had in house 鈥� an impressive and world-class collection of German art.
鈥淪torm of Progress: German Art After 1800鈥� is through Feb. 28.
On Wednesday鈥檚 St. Louis on the Air, host Sarah Fenske talked with Hannah Klemm, a co-curator of the exhibit and an associate curator of modern and contemporary art.
