The St. Louis Art Museum’s exhibition calendar is normally set three to five years in advance. But with brought on by the pandemic — among other issues — the already planned-upon exhibit calendar wasn’t possible.
Despite the challenges, museum staff scrambled to pull together a new exhibition. To do so, curators turned to what they already had in house — an impressive and world-class collection of German art.
“Storm of Progress: German Art After 1800” is through Feb. 28.
On Wednesday’s St. Louis on the Air, host Sarah Fenske talked with Hannah Klemm, a co-curator of the exhibit and an associate curator of modern and contemporary art.
