2016 in Review: Summing up a big year in Missouri politics

How does one even begin to sum up the political year that was 2016? On Thursday’s St. Louis on the Air, we tried.

There are no better qualified people to do that when it comes to Missouri politics than © 2024 ’s political reporting team. Marshall Griffin, statehouse reporter, as well as Jo Mannies and Jason Rosenbaum, political reporters, joined the program.

The trio discussed the “red wave” that came over Missouri on Nov. 8, Missouri Governor-Elect Eric Greiten’s rise, and the legacy of Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon, among other issues. They also looked at how political decisions made in 2016 will impact 2017 and beyond:
