Earlier this week, beloved Peabody Award-winning PBS journalist Gwen Ifill died at the age of 61 due to complications from cancer, with which she had struggled for several years. On this week鈥檚 鈥淏ehind the Headlines鈥� on St. Louis on the Air, we looked at the impact of Ifill鈥檚 journalism and listen to a 2010 excerpt of her interview with Don Marsh about her book 鈥�.鈥�
Joining the program were Amanda Honigfort, a producer with Higher Education Channel TV (HEC-TV) who worked as an intern with Ifill on 鈥淲ashington Week鈥� in 2013, and Anne-Marie Berger, a producer with Nine Network, who worked alongside Ifill when she visited Ferguson in September 2014.
