²Ñ¾±²õ²õ´Ç³Ü°ù¾±â€™s defining marriage as a union between a man and a woman is being challenged by a . Eight same-sex couples living in Missouri are seeking the state’s recognition of their out-of-state marriages.

A circuit court judge in St. Louis City last Tuesday. Three days later, he stayed the order pending an appeal. In the meantime, all fines collected will be put in an escrow fund.

The Missouri voter-ID bill (HB1073) was . The proposed law would require voters to prove their identity with an unexpired photo ID.  But until a constitutional amendment on the issue is put before voters, bills that define voter ID requirements are unlikely to pass.
