As for food and drink trends, evidently cauliflower is the new kale. Hawaiian food is on the rise. And there is plenty of experimentation with unusual ingredients to go around. Strange Donuts has come out with a seaweed donut, and Pastaria has a pickle fennel lemon gelato.
