Circus Flora Takes 'A Trip To The Moon'

‘A Trip to the Moon’ is a French black-and-white silent film produced in 1902.  The plot is about a group of astronomers who take an expedition to the moon.

The classic film is the inspiration for latest production, ‘A Trip to the Moon.’  The show runs from May 31 – June 23 at the Big Top behind Powell Hall.  It features a number of world-class performers and musicians including star equestrian , Carlos Svenson and his Magical Flying Goats as well as the .

Host Steve Potter spoke with Ivor David Balding, founder and artistic director of Circus Flora, Aurelia Wallenda, a trapeze artist with the Flying Wallendas, and equestrian Lisa Dufresne.
