Missouri's newest members of the have continued raising money.
Federal campaign finance reports show Republican of Springfield raised roughly $15,000 from Nov. 23 to Dec. 31, 2010. Long reported starting 2011 with $29,000 in his campaign bank account.
Republican Congresswoman raised about $52,000 over the same period but also reported that her campaign owed about $160,000. Hartzler had $22,000 in available cash at the start of this year.
Long was elected in November to the 7th Congressional District seat long held by , who was elected to the .
Hartzler defeated longtime Democratic Rep. in the 4th Congressional District, which covers much of west-central Missouri.
